The Word/Term

Why it matters:

Unaware of the condition prior to this book, I feel the term is very important in understanding the character of Junior.  Not only has he survived a fatal fleet, but he continues to grow intellectually aside from his ailment and isn’t scared to live a normal life.

What are the odds of a child born with hydrocephalus being able to maintain a normal life and would their life expectancy be altered because of their survival of the condition at birth?
